Get StartedHow runtime maps to credits
Tasks bill in whole 60-second units at 20 credits per unit, rounded up to the next unit. A 25-second task and a 55-second task both bill at 20 credits; an 85-second task bills at 40 credits; a 130-second task bills at 60 credits.
The reason for 60-second buckets — instead of per-second billing — is jitter. GPU execution time naturally varies by a few seconds run-to-run, even on identical inputs. Per-second billing would mean the same task could cost 19 credits one time and 21 the next. Bucketed billing absorbs that jitter, so each template's per-task cost stays the same every run — predictable down to the credit.
How Per-Task Pricing Works
RunKey bills in 60-second units of actual GPU execution time, rounded up to the next unit. Because each task on the same template runs in roughly the same time, costs stay predictable — and every template defines a max execution timeout, so a runaway task can never blow up your budget. GPUs are allocated per task and released the moment execution finishes — across image generation, video jobs, model inference, and other GPU workloads.
Predictable Per-Task Cost
Tasks bill in 60-second units of GPU time, rounded up to the next unit. Because each template's typical execution time is consistent, you always know what a task will roughly cost.
Fixed Per-Unit Rate
Every task runs on an NVIDIA RTX 4090 — the only GPU we offer — and bills at a flat 20 credits per 60-second unit. No premium-tier surcharge, no per-workload rate table.
Capped By Template Timeout
Each template defines a max execution timeout. Runaway tasks get auto-cut, so a single bad input can't spike your spend.
Need custom pricing for your templates?
If you need higher-volume RTX 4090 capacity, dedicated nodes, or pricing tailored to a high task volume, we can put together a custom plan for your team. Pricing can be adjusted based on workload profile, concurrency requirements, and expected monthly task volume.
Earn 30% when other users run your templates
Publish a template and let the rest of the RunKey community use it. Every time another user invokes one of your templates, you earn 30% of the credits they spend — automatically tracked in the console and paid out in USDC on the Polygon network. There is no separate application or contract to sign; revenue share is on by default for every published template.
30% Of Every External Run
When another account runs your template, 30% of the credits they spend become creator earnings. Your own runs of your own templates are excluded.
Tracked In Real Time
The console's Earnings page breaks revenue down per-template, separates pending vs. available balance, and exports a withdrawal history.
Withdraw From $200
Once your available balance reaches $200, request a payout in USDC on the Polygon network. No subscription, no monthly fee — just earnings.
Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about pricing and the platform
Compute credits are RunKey's unified billing unit. Every task runs on the same NVIDIA RTX 4090 GPU and bills at a fixed 20 credits per 60-second unit of execution time, rounded up to the next unit. No GPU-tier rate table to memorize — just one rate, every time.
Purchased credits never expire. Trial account credits are valid for 90 days and will automatically expire if unused.
One model: the NVIDIA RTX 4090 (24GB GDDR6X). We deliberately standardized on a single GPU so the per-unit rate is fixed and your cost-per-task is predictable. There is no GPU selector — every task runs on the same hardware.
Starter is ideal for individual developers or occasional use. Pro is suited for small-to-medium teams with regular AI development needs. Business is designed for enterprises requiring large-scale compute or SLA guarantees. Enterprise offers fully customized plans with dedicated support.
RunKey only supports one-time purchases. There is no subscription required. Purchased credits never expire, and when you run out, you can simply buy more at any time.
We accept credit cards (Visa / Mastercard / JCB), Apple Pay, Google Pay, and USDT. Enterprise customers can request invoiced billing.
At this time, purchases are non-refundable. We recommend confirming your needs carefully before completing payment.
RunKey employs enterprise-grade security standards: all data in transit is TLS encrypted, data at rest uses AES-256 encryption, compute environments are fully isolated, and we maintain SOC 2 Type II certification with GDPR compliance.
You can view your credit usage details in the console's Logs page, including task records, credit consumption, and task status.
Yes. RunKey runs a 30% creator revenue share — when other users invoke a template you published, you earn 30% of the credits they spend, paid out in USDC on the Polygon network. Earnings, per-template breakdowns, and withdrawal requests are all available in the console's Earnings page. The minimum withdrawal amount is $200.
